Located at 6303 Forest Park Road, the 24-acre Paul M. Bass Administrative and Clinical Center consists of Bass Center Towers 1 and 2 and a concourse that connects the two. Chase Bank is adjacent to the complex.
UT Southwestern administrative offices, medical and dental clinics, and the UT Southwestern Police Department are housed in the Bass Center, as well as a post office, food court, pharmacy, day care center, private businesses, and more.
The Center was named in honor of Paul M. Bass, the chairman emeritus of the Southwestern Medical Foundation. Built in the late 1950s, the complex — originally named Exchange Park — was the first large-scale mixed-use commercial development in Dallas. It was also one of the first high-rise building projects outside of downtown.
