James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center
The James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center is an outpatient facility where UT Southwestern Medical Center faculty members see patients. Located at 5303 Harry Hines Blvd., the nine-story Aston Center sits next door to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Completed in 1982, the facility is named for a former president of the Southwestern Medical Foundation.
The Aston Center is home to many outpatient medical clinics and the Campus Pharmacy. Laboratory and X-ray services are available in the building, so most services can be provided during a single patient visit.
Clinics located in the Aston Center include:
- Allergy and Immunology
- Internal Medicine and Geriatric Care
- Ophthalmology and Optometry
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Mineral Metabolism
- Neurology and Neurosurgery
Some Departments have clinics in more than one location. Always check before your appointment to be certain where your appointment is.
