Our staff will assist with the secure and timely transfer of medical records and test results to UT Southwestern offices, and will provide quality care for patients in a manner consistent with the physician’s practice.
UT Southwestern physicians will work collaboratively with the referring physician, and ensure a smooth transition back to the referring physician’s practice when appropriate.

Access for referring physicians and their patients is a top priority at UT Southwestern. Appointments and consultations are scheduled in a timely manner, and patient transfers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Recognizing that navigating through the many programs and resources at UT Southwestern can be challenging, we offer a Physician Outreach Program to assist external physicians with any questions they may have.
