Biography

Jamie L. Morgan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, she monitors and cares for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Morgan earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed both an obstetrics-gynecology residency – serving as Administrative Chief Resident – and a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in maternal-fetal medicine, she is fluent in Spanish. 

Dr. Morgan has published more than 20 scholarly articles and delivered a number of presentations. 

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

She is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

In 2019 and 2020, Dr. Morgan was named a Texas Monthly Super Doctor Rising Star.


Personal Note

In her spare time, Dr. Morgan enjoys running, doing yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
