Clinical Centers bring UTSW care to the community

Think of it as world-class health care, right in your own backyard. UT Southwestern has opened its first neighborhood Clinical Center, in Richardson/Plano, bringing the Medical Center’s renowned clinical expertise directly to the community.

The Richardson/Plano Center, located off Waterview Parkway near the UT Dallas campus in Richardson, offers primary care, Ob/Gyn services, and sports medicine expertise. In 2013, cancer care and behavioral health services will be added, along with a variety of other specialties.

“We recognized that in order to effectively serve our community, we needed to have more services placed off campus where they can be more accessible,” says Bruce  Meyer, M.D., Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs.
