Continuing Medical Education: Upcoming Events

Continuing medical education (CME) courses offered through UT Southwestern’s Office of Public Education and Continuing Medical Education help physicians, PhDs, and allied health professionals stay at the leading edge of medicine.

“Our goal is to continuously re-evaluate and reinvent our CME program to remain abreast of the ever-changing CME environment and the needs of physicians and other health care professionals,” says Peter Plantes, M.D., Assistant Vice President for Continuing Medical and Community Education.

In addition to fulfilling mandatory CME requirements for physicians, UT Southwestern’s CME courses enhance the knowledge, technical proficiencies, professional performance, and interpersonal skills of health care professionals within and beyond UT Southwestern. CME events range from local and regional series and symposia to national and global activities.
