Dr. William Scott is a fellowship-trained pediatric cardiologist with expertise in cardiac electrophysiology (arrhythmias) and a special interest in the prevention of sudden cardiac death. Upon joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 1990, Dr. Scott established a comprehensive program for the management of children with arrhythmias, and he directed that program until 2015. His research interests are directed at advancing noninvasive technology to diagnose and manage children with congenital and acquired heart disease.
