Michael Wait, M.D., is Professor of Cardiovasular and Thoracic Surgey at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Chief of the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Service at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern and completed residencies in internal medicine, general surgery, and thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at UT Southwestern-affiliated hospitals.
