Mark Johnson, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Chief of the Division of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Johnson helped launch the Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases inpatient service program in 1999 and now directs the clinic, which has grown to serve as a referral point for complex cases throughout North Texas and neighboring states.

He is also Director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program as well as Medical Director of the stroke programs at William P. Clements Jr. and Zale Lipshy University Hospitals and Parkland Memorial Hospital.

He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Society of Neuroimaging, the American Stroke Association, and the World Stroke Organization.
