Mark Goldberg, M.D., is Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. An expert in stroke care with more than 25 years of experience in the field, he works with patients and conducts research to promote better and more effective recovery after a stroke. Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Columbia University after graduating from Harvard University. He completed his neurology residency at Stanford University, where he was also a postdoctoral research fellow. Dr. Goldberg is Co-Director of the Texas Institute for Brain Injury and Repair and also serves on the executive committee of the Lone Star Stroke Consortium.
