Kathleen Bell, M.D., is a neuro-rehabilitation specialist and Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She holds the Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Chair in Mobility Research. She also co-directs the Mobility Foundation Center with Hunt Batjer, M.D., Chair of Neurological Surgery, and is a leading investigator in the Texas Institute for Brain Injury and Repair.
Dr. Bell is a nationally recognized researcher in the field of traumatic brain injury (TBI). She has been continuously funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research and the Department of Defense, among other sources. She has been published extensively in this area and has given presentations all over the world about her work.
