Neurologist Ghazala Perven, M.D., is dedicated to helping patients at UT Southwestern Medical Center reduce the number of seizures they experience – and, when possible, stopping them altogether – using insights from the latest research and care options. Following her initial medical training in Pakistan and a residency in neurology at the University of Toledo in Ohio, Dr. Perven received advanced training in epilepsy through a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. She specializes in evaluating and treating all forms of epilepsy and its many impacts on patients’ lives, including women of childbearing age who’ve been told they cannot have children because of it.
