UT Southwestern’s Eugene McDermott Center for Pain Management has earned the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. The recognition signifies that the McDermott Center is guided by internationally recognized service standards and best practices.
UTSW is one of the few pain management centers in Texas with onsite pain specialists, behavioral medicine specialists, and physical therapists.
“We serve adults experiencing acute, subacute, or chronic pain,” says Carl Noe, M.D., the Center’s Director. “Our team of experts understands the physical and emotional toll that pain can have.”
The McDermott Center offers minimally invasive procedures and an interdisciplinary approach designed to help patients learn skills to alleviate pain, improve the body’s functional ability, and reduce psychosocial stress that pain can sometimes cause.
