For patients and their families who travel to Dallas and need hotel accommodations, a Guest and Patient Services ambassador will help make arrangements at one of several nearby hotels.
Many hotels offer reduced rates and shuttle service for UT Southwestern patients.
Guest and Patient Service ambassadors are available at UT Southwestern Medical Center to help make each patient’s hospital stay and each guest’s visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They give directions, answer questions, and arrange such services as a personal escort, wheelchair, and stretcher assistance.
Ambassadors can also help coordinate hotel reservations, car rentals, taxis, food delivery, guest trays, translation services, hair care, birthdays and anniversaries, flowers, videos, and reading material.
The Guest and Patient Services Desk is located in the main lobby of each hospital. Patient ambassadors are available daily.
