Who We Are
The UT Southwestern Medical Center Richardson/Plano – Family Medicine Clinic provides care for families and individuals of all ages, from wellness education, immunizations, and screenings to acute and chronic disease management. We offer full-service laboratory and imaging services, and if specialty care is needed, our physicians will provide a referral while continuing to manage your overall care.
Meet Drs. Mohita Patel and Amrutha Pavle
Mohita Patel, M.D., Family Medicine specialist, is now scheduling new patients at UT Southwestern’s Medical Center at Richardson/Plano – Family Medicine Clinic.
A native of Austin, Dr. Patel sees patients of every age for preventive care, immunizations and screenings, physicals, acute illness and injury, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Patel is fluent in Gujarati and Spanish, and her special clinical interests include diabetes management, pediatric care, and women’s health.
Amrutha Pavle, M.D., Family Medicine specialist, is now scheduling new patients at UT Southwestern’s Medical Center at Richardson/Plano – Family Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Pavle is a native of India, where she performed her initial medical training before completing her residency in family medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She treats patients of all ages, providing physicals, well-woman exams, care for acute illnesses and injuries, immunizations, and chronic disease management. Dr. Pavle believes strongly in preventive care and has participated in a community-based research project on the subject.
She also has a special interest in women's health and pediatric health. Dr. Pavle is fluent in Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada, in addition to English.
