Rodrigo Sotillo, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine. He sees patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and congestive heart failure. He also has extensive experience and a special interest in geriatrics, the aging process, and the prevention of age-related challenges, from Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss to immobility and depression in the elderly.
Barry Mirtsching, M.D., is from Dallas. Following his graduate training, he was in private practice in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology in Dallas until 2013. He managed a clinical research program as part of his private practice and has the unique experience of having practiced as both a specialist and a generalist. He returned to UTSW in 2013 in the Division of General Internal Medicine. His interests include cancer screening and prevention, hypertension, diabetes, and lipid management.
