The Reference Hemostasis Laboratory is designed to assist clinicians with the diagnosis and management of patients with thrombotic and bleeding disorders. Ravindra Sarode, M.D., the laboratory director, oversees the technical operations of the laboratory and evaluates new tests and technologies.
The laboratory offers a wide variety of tests for clotting and bleeding disorders, and appropriate molecular genetic tests are offered in conjunction with the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory.
