Pediatric Pathology is staffed by board-certified pediatric pathologists, clinical pathologists, and Ph.D. laboratory scientists, all specializing in pediatric disorders.
Our staff is available for consultation and slide review of cases that involve diseases of the fetus, infant, and child, including evaluation of lesions of the placenta.
Discussion of the case with one of the pediatric pathologists prior to submission of a specimen is recommended.
The staff is available to perform fetal and neonatal autopsies, if the deceased patient is transported to Children’s Medical Center and complete medical records are available for review before the procedure.
