UT Southwestern’s Family Medicine Program integrates state-of-the-art clinical and research resources with a comprehensive focus on health maintenance and improvement for the entire family, from newborns to seniors. 

Our physicians are experts in diagnosing and treating childhood illnesses and providing developmental screening to monitor a child's growth. We provide adults and seniors with advanced care for conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Well-woman care is also provided by our physicians.

Evaluation

Our physicians provide regular checkups, examinations, and screenings for cancer, cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease. They are also specialists in treating urgent symptoms such as lacerations that may require stitches, and in managing chronic conditions including heartburnasthmaemphysemamigraine headaches, and osteoporosis.

Our assessment and screening programs enable our patients to take advantage of the health benefits of early diagnosis. Through a careful evaluation of your individual susceptibility to illness, our family medicine physicians can help greatly reduce the development or progression of a wide variety of conditions.
