Ulthera – Facial Rejuvenation
and Nonsurgical Facelift
Ultherapy/Ulthera is a nonsurgical option that uses proven technology in a new way to rejuvenate the face and neck. UT Southwestern Medical Center was among the first plastic surgery centers in the United States to evaluate how this technology performs among various ages and types of patients.
Our plastic surgeons have found that Ultherapy/Ulthera is an effective, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation process to address early signs of aging such as excess eyelid skin, sagging cheeks or jowls, and loose skin on the neck.
New & Noteworthy
"We evaluated Ulthera before it was introduced to the general public. We can quickly determine whether it will be safe for your skin and produce the desired results."Jeffrey M. Kenkel, M.D.

Ultherapy uses sound waves to heat facial tissue deep beneath the skin. No incisions are required. The treatments stimulate the creation of new collagen, which is one of the ways your skin maintains a more youthful look. You will see the impact immediately after your first treatment. The results build over time so it can take up to six months to see the greatest impact.
This technology is most beneficial for individuals without excessive skin laxity. It is typically recommended for patients who are in their 30s or older and display early signs of aging. During a consult, we evaluate your face and skin, then provide an objective viewpoint regarding whether Ulthera can generate a more youthful look.
