Amputation Outcomes

Whether the loss of a limb results from a disorder or treatment for a disease, a trauma or congenital limb deficiency, we provide innovative care designed to help patients reach the highest level of function possible. We offer specialized rehabilitation expertise for upper- and lower-limb amputations, as well as multiple amputations.

  • In 2016, we admitted 22 patients to Inpatient Rehabilitation following an amputation:
    • 11 male and 11 female
    • The average age was 58 years old
  • 59 percent of our patients returned home after their rehab stay.
  • The average length of stay in rehab was approximately nine days.
