Clinical Trials

We offer individuals the opportunity to participate in clinical trials at UT Southwestern’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center (ADC). The ADC is one of only 32 institutions nationwide funded by the National Institute on Aging to evaluate patients and conduct scientific research on the causes of Alzheimer's disease.

Mary Quiceno, M.D., meets with patient Dewayne Nash, M.D., who is taking part in a clinical trial conducted by the Memory Research Clinic at UT Southwestern.

Nearly 100 new volunteers are enrolled each year in clinical trials being conducted at UT Southwestern’s ADC.

Patients who participate in research studies at the ADC have access to the newest treatments and medications that are being investigated for Alzheimer’s disease and other memory disorders. They also benefit from close monitoring and access to trained staff members who offer support, guidance, and information.
