Rhis is a prospective study. Subjects will be consented prior to their samples being collected.
The overall goal of this proposal is to validate the sensitivity and specificity of aurora A FISH probe for the detection of BC compared to other established voided urine based non-invasive tests such as cytology, UroVysion FISH, and NMP22.
Furthermore, this proposal will validate a BC model based on clinicopathologic features and NMP22 and determine if it can be improved with the addition of Aurora A FISH and/or UroVysion FISH.
Patients with urothelial carcinoma of the bladder, patients with benign urologic disorders, patients presenting with hematuria and healthy volunteers of both sexes regardless of their ethnic background or gender are eligible.
