When other medical centers reach the end of their options for you, that’s where we begin. We specialize in second opinions and offer treatments you won’t find elsewhere in Texas.
The surgeons involved in our seven programs strive whenever possible to completely remove each tumor. In cases for which a complete removal is not advisable, or for which tumor recurrence is likely, we work with colleagues in radiation oncology and neuro oncology to control the tumor as long as possible, and in many cases patients are able to live normal productive lives.
Physicians and surgeons directly involved in the treatment of brain and pituitary tumors are supported by colleagues in the disciplines of neuroradiology, neuropathology, neuropsychology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation, and by a large team of experienced nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants. Everyone involved in this effort shares the goal of providing the best outcome possible for each patient.
